I've read this authors previous books and loved them. So when I was asked if I was interested in reading her new book I jumped at it. Then I read the blurb. I looked at the categories it was in and I had palpitations. Science fiction, fantasy and religion. Genres I normally give a wide berth to.

So I decided I needed to have faith in the author and give it a go. Yet again this author has blown me away. She has taken me out of my comfort zone and opened my eyes to some new genres.

Oli is an eighteen year old living behind a barrier unwillingly. She craves to escape, to find out if life is better on the other side. Reading the bible helps her to restore her faith in God. Her best friend Coi wants to stay where he is however it all changes when Cois life is in danger. When they escape is the unknown safer than what they are running for.

Although this isn't a genre I'd normally read I'm not hesitating in giving this five stars. This book has pushed my boundaries and opened my mind to different genres. I'm sitting here in shock that I read this so quickly. I'd seriously have bet money that I wouldn't be able to finish it. A great storyline that reminds me of a few movies that my partner made me watch!
